Please Note**
Gradings
take place during the normal class lesson times but might
over
run slightly for higher grades to complete their syllabus. Junior
students
must have all their assessments to be able to grade.
What
you must bring to Grading lesson :-
• Valid
Licence Book
•
Appropriate uniform, with SKF badge and current belt
•
Sparring equipment
•
Payment for Grading
Fail to provide the above
may result in the student being
unable to grade or points
deducted from their grading.
Grading Fee Juniors & Adults
£20
Coloured Belts (Grading from white belt and up)
£30
Grading to Brown Belts
(Pre-Grading
White & Red Belt £10)
Gradings
above Brown Belt can only be obtained on courses.
Other
than in special circumstances, which only senior grading
instructors
can authorise.
Equipment Requirements
The following regulations is for equipment which students must obtain
prior to grading to stated belt (& above) and which must then be brought
with them and worn when necessary at all training sessions.
Equipment Requirements for following grades;
Grading to Yellow Belt & above;
Headguard & Gum shield
Grading to Orange Belt & above;
Gloves (closed fingers)
Grading to Green Belt & above;
Shin Guards and Sparring Boots
Optional but recommended
equipment
Ladies Chest Protectors
Groin Guards
These equipment regulations for each grade allow students /
parents to purchase equipment over a period of time to spread cost. However, in
the interest of safety the above is recommended safety equipment for all students
regardless of grade.
All the above equipment and more can be purchased from the SKF
online store or through your club instructor.
Failure to abide by these regulations may result in the student
being unable to grade and or train in class.
